On Tucker Carlson, MSNBC
This guy is super smart, and he knows it and shows it. Remember when he wore a bowtie for years. Eventually Jon Stewart went on his CNN show co-hosted with Bob Novak. Stewart was unusually cruel and essentially called those guys idiots and laughed at his bowtie. While Stewart had a relevant point, it was delivered in a poor, and clearly not funny manner. In any event Carlson was quickly fired from CNN, which was weird, and he landed at MSNBC, sans bowtie.
So here is the main point. I have spent a good amount of time not liking Carlson, but I find him to be correct on his opinion of the issues more often than any other opinionated journalist. Note: Most good journalists are unbiased and merely report, like Blitzer, but that is not Carlson’s format - so the two can not be compared.
So Carlson is real smart, he is maturing in his attitude, he has no bowtie, and I think he is a winner in vetting critical world issues. My disclaimer is that he is likely to disappoint me, and then you will see an updated blog.
All the best.
